Life Under the Kentland Sun

Kentland has always been home to me. Having grown up here my whole life, I’m able to speak to the true character of the town.

It’s an incredibly friendly place to live. There’s just something about living in a small town that brings out the best in people. It’s the kind of place where you can drive along and you actually know everyone you’re waving to.

I own several companies in Kentland, such as WB Mowing, Snap Storage and Inspiration Fitness. WB Mowing is my main focus. In terms of lawn care, we manage upward to 70 properties throughout the town. It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s incredibly fulfilling. My days usually start pretty early. Around 5:30am every morning, I’m up and getting ready for the day. Once I head out the door, the rest of my day is spent out under the Kentland sun.

Big Moments & An Opportunity to Enjoy Life

When I look back over my years in Kentland, I think one of the more important moments has been helping the success of large-scale events like Winter Wishes. Getting to collaborate with men like Craig Arnold, one of the Town’s Economic Development Task Force Members, has been great. I look forward to assisting in even more opportunities like this in the future. When I’m not investing in one of my many career ventures, I honestly enjoy working out and staying fit.

If I had to pick my favorite place to go in Kentland, it would probably be Cast Park. It’s quiet, peaceful and relaxing to visit. For those who aren’t from Kentland, Cast park has plenty of open space for moving around with friends and family. It features playground equipment for the kids, cornhole, a fishing lagoon, a great walking path and a hill for sledding down during the colder months.

Making a Difference in Kentland

Through time, money and personal investment in others, it’s my hope to see Kentland become a stronger community everyday. I want Kentland to be known as a place that welcomes and supports small businesses. One thing I believe would be great asset to the town is a co-working space for people to come, sit down, focus, complete projects and network.
